Consecutive Saturday sorties up Pendle. Yet another unsuitable weekend day for anything other than a local excursion; there is just no point in travelling very far with the threat of rain and 100% cloud cover. "They" said it would be dry for a few hours after 1100hrs. We get going from the roadside at noon.

But not quite enough! "They" say it will be colder by the end of next week....

Molly's latest trick is to touch her nose with her tongue.
Molly n' Me from the roadside, up the steps, down the track: 1hr and 25mins.
Soon the sun will come out and the crowds will be back....
